Vicky Pearce

Vicky started her career in financial services in 1996 as a cashier, progressing to be a mortgage adviser and then a financial adviser.

In 2008, an armed robbery at the building society branch where Vicky worked prompted a change of direction to focus on compliance, the area she’s specialised in ever since.

Vicky founded B-Compliant in 2018 after identifying a gap in the market for a firm that actually does compliance, rather than simply telling clients what to do and leaving them to it. While several small sole consultant firms work like this, no larger firms do, which is why B-Compliant was born.

Today, Vicky’s role is split between supporting clients and managing B-Compliant, as the company continues to grow and operational responsibilities increase.

As well as being a Chartered Financial Planner, Vicky holds the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Certificate in Advanced Mortgage Advice, and is an MSCI member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Vicky has two grown-up sons and lives in Sale, South Manchester, with Jeremy and their two spaniels, Tigs and Lily, who come to work with them most days.

In her spare time, Vicky is a regular gym-goer, enjoys weekly swims and loves walking the dogs.
